Anaxandrides
Anaxandrides was an ancient Greek comedy poet who is classified as medium comedy. It came from Kamiros or Colophon . He achieved the first of his ten comedy victories in 376 BC. Between 382 and 347 performances of 65 of his pieces are documented. In 348 he took part in the festival of the Macedonian King Philip II.
Only the titles of his pieces have survived, 42 in total. The fragments show that there were also political allusions, and the Suda is evidence of love stories.
