An attachment plate - also known as a municipal plate , municipal attachment plate , DIN plate or DIN attachment plate - is a standardized quick-change device for devices that are to be mounted and operated on commercial vehicles.

In Germany it is defined for different sizes in DIN EN 15432 (replacement for DIN 76060: 1983-08) for forms A and B (see also the list of technical regulations for the road system in Germany ). In addition to the mounting plate, supply lines for electrical power , hydraulics or compressed air are often kept available in order to be able to drive attachments. A well-known device with a mounting plate is the snow plow .
