Anchialus (father of Mentes)
Anchialos ( Greek Ἀγχίαλος ) is a figure in Greek mythology .
He was king of the Taphians , father of Mentes and a good friend of Odysseus . After Odysseus had unsuccessfully asked for poison arrows from Ilos , king of Ephyra , he received it from Anchialus.
