Anders Møller (wrestler)

Anders Carl Ferdinand Møller (born February 22, 1883 in Copenhagen , † October 22, 1966 in Hørsholm ) was a Danish wrestler .

In 1907 he became Danish master in the Greco-Roman style in the lightweight. At the Unofficial European Wrestling Championships in Copenhagen in 1907 , he took part in the middleweight (up to 75 kg), but did not take any of the top places.

At the Danish championship in 1908, he finished second. At the 1908 Summer Olympics in London , he took part in wrestling in Greco-Roman style. His weight class was lightweight at the Olympic Games (up to 60 kg). In the first round he won against the British Andrew Whittingstall , in the second against the British George Faulkner . In the quarterfinals, Anders Møller lost to the Finn Arvo Lindén , who later became the bronze medalist.

His club was the Copenhagen club AK Thor .
