The Andershof pond is a pond in the Andershof district of the Hanseatic city of Stralsund .
The pond was created in the Middle Ages around 1290 to 1300 when a dam was built in the Andershofer Senke as a mill dam. The dam is approx. 285 meters long and is called “Staudamm Stralsund Süd”. The dam is registered as a ground monument of the Middle Ages under "Andershof Fpl (3)". Today it has an area of 23.1 hectares and a volume of 690,000 m³. The water body was divided into Andershofer and Voigdehäger pond in 1863 by the railway embankment on the Angermünde-Stralsund line.
