The 61st psalm is a psalm of David and belongs to the series of " Lamentations of an Individual".

  • Verse 1: heading
  • Verses 2-3b: invocation
  • Verses 3c-6: Requests and Confidence
  • Verse 7f .: intercession
  • Verse 9: pledge

use

In Judaism, the 61st psalm is recited on the pilgrimage festival of Hoshana Rabba .
