Psalm 28

The 28th psalm (according to Greek counting the 27th) is a psalm of David and belongs to the "hymns of praise in the night".

structure

The psalm can be divided into the following sections:

  • Verses 1–2: Asking God for an answer to prayer
  • Verses 3–5: Description of the wicked and the danger they pose
  • Verses 6–9: Thanks for hearing your own request and for the protection granted to the people
