The 141st psalm is a psalm of David from the fifth book of the psalter .

In Psalm 141 a single God complains of his need. He sees his prayer as a sacrifice and asks God to see it as such. Among other things, he prays that the Lord will keep his heart from evil (verses 3 and 4) and that he will not fall like the wicked (verses 8-10).
