Remarks

Verse 2

David is pursued by King Saul and hides in the Sif desert. The second verse probably refers to 1 Sam 23.19  EU . There it says:

But the Sifites went up to Saul in Gibeah and said, Isn't David hiding with us on the mountain fortresses, in Horesha, on the hill of Hachila, which is south of Yeshimon?

Verse 3

Similar to Psalm 20 , what is striking about this psalm is the effectiveness that the psalmist ascribes to the name of God , so that he hopes for salvation through this name.
