The 15th psalm (according to Greek counting the 14th) is a psalm of David and belongs to the genre of " liturgy ".

structure

One possible structure of the psalm is as follows:

  1. Verse 1: Inquiry to YHWH whom he will allow in his sanctuary
  2. Verses 2–5b: YHWH's answer lists the necessary qualities
  3. Verse 5c: divine promise to those who fulfill all of this

Dating

Due to the literal contact of the Psalm with the prohibition of interest from ( 3 Mos 25.37  EU ) it can be dated to the post-exilic period.
