Andi Weiss (* 1977 ) is a German songwriter and author .

Life

Andi Weiss is a musician, author and logotherapist from Munich, who became known throughout Germany in 2007 through the publication of his debut album and Ungewandte leise as well as his book Ungewandte leise: 50 personal encounters with God, which was published at the same time. In 2009 the second album Liebensworthig followed, as well as winning a David Award in the category “Best National Artist” at the Christian music fair Promikon and the awarding of the young talent award for song poets by the Hanns Seidel Foundation as part of the songs on a summer evening . His appearance at the "Songs" had to be canceled due to a thunderstorm, the songBeing at home is still included on the CD . In total, Andi Weiss played three times in the "Songs".

So far six more studio albums have been released: Liebensworthig (2011), Heimat (2011), Liebens dichheiligen (2013), Learn to walk (2016), Until you sleep (2017) and Give everything, just don't give up! (2019). Due to the special overall concept of its concerts, which in addition to songs also contain stories, stories and instrumental piano arrangements, the publishing house Gerth Medien released a DVD / CD package in 2012 under the title Andi Weiss: Das Konzert. Live albums followed (“Lieb Dichheil”, 2015 and “Learn to walk” 2017). Around 1,000 performances and well over 100,000 books and CDs sold shaped the last 10 years of his career as a solo artist.

Andi Weiss works in Munich as a logotherapist in his own practice and as a coach for executives. He also appeared on radio and television programs.

Private

Andi Weiss lives with his wife Martina Weiss and their son near Munich.
