András Gyürk (born December 2, 1972 in Budapest ) is a Hungarian politician of Fidesz - Hungarian Citizens' Union .

Life

Gyürk studied history at the Eötvös Loránd University in Budapest. From 1998 to 2004 Gyürk was a member of the Hungarian Parliament . Gyürk has been a member of the European Parliament since 2004 .

In the EU Parliament, Gyürk is a member of the Committee on Industry, Research and Energy , in the delegation in the committees for parliamentary cooperation EU-Armenia, EU-Azerbaijan and EU-Georgia and in the delegation in the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly .

Gyürk is married and has two children.
