André Gerin
André Gerin (born January 19, 1946 in Vienne , Département Isère ) is a French politician of the PCF .
The trained industrial draftsman became mayor of Vénissieux for the first time in 1985 , which he remained until 2009 and was a member of the National Assembly for the Rhône department from 1993–2012 . In 2010 he headed a parliamentary commission on the full veil ban , which came into force in France in April 2011.
