André Trottier

André Trottier (* 1901 in Grondines ; date and place of death unknown) was a Canadian singer (bass).

Live and act

Trottier studied singing in Trois-Rivières and Québec. From 1920 to 1923 he worked at a bank and also appeared as an actor and singer. He later worked in the public sector in Montreal and took part in performances by the Société canadienne d'opérette and the Opéra Français . At the same time he took singing lessons from Alexandre Clerk (1923–1925) and Alice Raymond (1925–1929). From 1930 he was a member of the Quatuor Alouette founded by Roger Filiatrault , with whom he appeared in Canada, the USA, France, Belgium and Brazil and made radio and recordings.
