André Wilde
André Wilde is a German swimmer who started for PSV Rostock . Today he is the regional swimming coach of the Association for Disabled and Rehabilitation Sports Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania (VBRS MV eV)
Wilde was able to place himself several times in German championships:
- 5 km: 1995 , 1997 , 1999 , 2000 and 2001 3rd place each
- 25 km: 1995 2nd place, 1998 MEISTER, 1999 MEISTER, 2000 MEISTER and 2002 3rd place
His greatest success was winning two medals at the European Championships in Istanbul in 1999 : bronze over 25 km in 5: 12: 40.8 hours behind the two Russians Aleksey Akatiyev and Anton Sanachev and silver with the long-distance team (team: Peggy Büchse , Britta Kamrau , Angela Maurer , Andreas Maurer , Andre Wilde and Sebastian Wiese ) behind the winning team from Russia.
At the European Championships in Berlin in 2002 , he started again over 25 km, but had to give up halfway.
