Sebastian Wiese (born January 12, 1972 in Dresden ) is a German swimmer and Olympic participant. The 1.88 m tall and 78 kg heavy athlete started for the ASK Vorwärts Potsdam , the OSC Potsdam and the Wasserfreunde Spandau 04 , for which he currently works as a swimming attendant.

  • Wiese participated in the Olympic Games in Barcelona in 1992 and in Atlanta in 1996 over 400 m freestyle.
    • In 1992 he reached the finals and came in 6th place in 3: 49.06 minutes, ahead of Stefan Pfeiffer , the second German finalist (gold was won by Russian Jewgeni Sadowy in the world record time of 3: 45.00 minutes).
    • In 1996 he only qualified for the B final, where he finished 2nd in 3: 52.37 minutes (10th place overall). In the A-final this time would have meant 8th place.
