André Zarra

André Zarra (born before 1960) is a French cameraman.

Zarra photographed short films in the mid-1960s, including Le Fossé by Maurice Poli with Poli himself and Geneviève Grad . In Germany he became known as the cameraman of the successful German multi-part series Die Lederstrumpferzählungen (1969) by Pierre Gaspard-Huit and Jean Dréville and Der Seewolf by Wolfgang Staudte. In France he created the pictures for the multi-part series Les Galapiats , directed by Gaspard-Huit. He also directed a number of documentaries by Jean Dasque (including Vietnam Releases His Children ) and films by Claude Pierson ( La Grande Récré , J'ai droit au plaisir , Les Phallocrates ) and for Patrick Schulmann ( Axel et Zoé s'aiment d ' amour tendre and the body switch comedy Give Me My Skin Back ). Bernard Guillous' Une nuit rêvée pour un poisson banal with Henri Serre is one of his other works . His last work was Bernard Férié's mystical drama Une petite fille dans les tournesols (1984) with Claude Jade , which received the Prix des Auteurs in 1985.
