Andrés García (actor)
Andrés García (born May 25, 1941 in Santo Domingo , Dominican Republic ) is a Dominican actor.
The son of Spanish parents spent his childhood in Mexico . In the late 1960s and early 1970s, after appearing in photo novels without clothes, it became a sex symbol . He quickly gets roles as a muscular macho in soap operas and films.
His life keeps making headlines in the yellow press . In 1995 he contracted prostate cancer , after healing he went public and presented his inflatable penile prosthesis ( La Bombita ). The father of 16 children publicly defends his son, the actor Andrés García Jr., for his homosexuality (Andrés García Jr. was in a relationship with the ex-husband of the singer Lupita D'Alessio, Christian Rossen). In 2005 he went public and said he was a reincarnation of Simón Bolívar and before that he was a prostitute.
