Andrés Gutiérrez de Cerezo

Andrés Gutiérrez de Cerezo OSB (* 1459 in Cerezo de Río Tirón , Burgos , † 1503 in Oña ) was a Spanish humanist and professor at the University of Salamanca .

Live and act

He studied humanities and was a professor of rhetoric at the University of Salamanca . De Cerezo was a student of Antonio de Nebrija . He was a member of the Benedictine order . He lived from 1490 to 1491 in the Monasterio de San Salvador de Oña .
