Andrés Neuman
Andrés Neuman (born January 28, 1977 in Buenos Aires , Argentina ) is an Argentine- Spanish writer , poet , translator and essayist .
Life
Andrés Neuman is the son of two musicians living in exile in Spain. His mother is a violinist of Spanish-Italian origin and his father is an oboist of German-Jewish origin. Neuman has lived in Granada , Andalusia , since he was 14 , where he studied Spanish-American literature at the University of Granada , did his doctorate and later also taught. Neuman made his author debut in 1998 with the award-winning collection of poems Métodos de la noche and a year later he made his debut as a writer with the critically acclaimed novel Bariloche . He processed his life story with his third semi-biographical novel Una vez Argentina , published in 2003 .
