Andrés Silva , full name Andrés Silva Cáceres , (born August 17, 1989 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Career

The 1.74 meter tall midfielder and defensive player known as Andrés Silva was part of Danubio FC's ranks at the beginning of his career from Apertura 2009 to February 2011 . With the Montevideans he completed seven games (one goal) in the 2009/10 season and one encounter (no goal) in the Primera División in the 2010/11 season . In February 2011 he was loaned to Plaza Colonia . From there he returned to Danubio for a few weeks at the beginning of July 2012 and was finally handed over to the then second division club Atlético Rentistas in late August 2012 . With this he rose at the end of the season from the Segunda División . In the following first division season 2013/14 he ran in 23 league games. He didn't score a goal. In the 2014/15 season he was used 14 times (one goal) in the top Uruguayan league and once (no goal) in the 2014 Copa Sudamericana . At Apertura 2015 he moved to the first division promoted Plaza Colonia. In the 2015/16 season he was neither used there nor is a member of the first team recorded. At the end of July 2016, he joined the second division Club Atlético Progreso .
