Andragoras
Andragoras was around 250 BC. Chr. Seleucid satrap in Parthia , at the time of the Scythian Arsakes I. invaded Parthia and rebelled against the Seleucids. Justin reports that Andragoras was killed by Arsakes I. Andragoras is perhaps also known from four gold staters and a number of tetradrachms , which bear the name Andragoras and were partly found in the Oxus treasure ; although the assignment of the coins to the person named by Justin is not entirely certain. There are stylistically very closely related coins that are also attributed to him. They carry aramaic legends that are difficult to read .
