Andrea (singer)
Andrea (also Andrea Teodorova , bul . Андреа or Андреа Теодорова ; real name Teodora Rumenowa Andreewa or Теодора Руменова Андреева ; born January 23, 1987 in Sofia , Bulgaria ) is a Bulgarian popfolk singer.
Life
The Bulgarian began her musical career in 2006 with the single Kato . In August 2008 she produced the music video for Samo Moi in collaboration with the Romanian music producer Costi Ioniță . Subsequently, Andrea also recorded songs under her second pseudonym Sahara (bul. Сахара). Her three most successful hits were Upotrebena (Употребена), Dokrai (Докрай) and Neblagodaren (Неблагодарен).
In 2009 she was seen in the music clip BELLEZZA together with Geo Da Silva, a Romanian DJ . A year later the song I Wanna followed (with Bob Sinclar and Shaggy ). Andrea broke off her collaboration with Costi after he had announced that he would devote himself more to a solo career. The singer is well known in the Balkans , especially in Bulgaria and Serbia .
In 2011 Andrea expanded her popularity to the US with songs like Mine (with Mario Wines) and Champagne , in collaboration with Shaggy.
At the beginning of 2012 she released the song Losha . The video clip for the song is considered to be one of the most expensive in the singer's homeland. The song Only You , released in June 2012, also received a lot of attention.
In 2015 she released the song "Passion" for Shaggy & Costi. The song "Poludei" followed in early 2016.
She has been in a relationship with boxer Kubrat Pulev for years.
