Andrea Contreras started in August 2010 at the Biathlon South American Championships in Portillo and Bariloche . In the championship, which was held as a racing series, Contrerasin Portillo was tenth in the individual and the sprint and ninth in the mass start race. She finished fourth in the sprint race in Bariloche. In the overall standings, in which only three races entered, she finished tenth.
