Andrea Forzano
Andrea Forzano (born February 2, 1915 in Viareggio , † December 22, 1992 in Rome ) was an Italian film director and screenwriter .
Life
The son of the director Giovacchino Forzano presented his debut film Ragazza che dorme in 1941 at the Venice Film Festival . Two years later he used the pseudonym Andrea Della Sabbia for his second, largely unnoticed work. In the 1950s he was responsible for three other films, the first of which, Imbarco a mezzanotte , was actually directed by Joseph Losey . Forzano also held other functions in all of his films, for example he wrote the scripts and edited his own works. He was last active in 1959: he wrote another screenplay for Marino Girolami .
