Andrea Gabriella Kapsaski

Andrea Gabriella Kapsaski (born December 31, 1956 in Heidelberg ) is a Greek actress , film producer , poet and translator .

The daughter of the film producer, poet and translator Socrates Kapsaskis became known with films such as I apeili tis Mormonas (1984), My Head Hurts (2000) and Spidarlings (2016). With Kostas Mazanis she wrote and produced the radio series Europe between the Wars from 1981-82 . From 1998 to 2002 she directed the Antitheatro in Athens. She is also co-founder and managing director of Après Vague Productions . A collection of Miltos Sachtouris ' poems was published in 1990 in a translation into German. In 2000 her first volume of poetry, Avti i grigori fthora tis sarkas , was published in Athens . Kapsaki is the mother of the director Selene Kapsaski and the actress Rahel Kapsaski and the cousin of the director Spiros Kapsaskis .
