Andrea Herrmann

Andrea Herrmann (* 1971 ) is a freelance trainer and consultant for software technology (or software engineering) and especially requirements engineering . She previously held two visiting professorships.

Career

Since receiving a Franco-German double degree ( University of Stuttgart and École Centrale Paris ) in 1995, she has worked alternately in research and in IT companies, either creating software, organizing its creation (as a consultant and project manager) or researching software creation .

Her habilitation topic was decisions in software engineering . She developed the MOQARE and ICRAD methods and dealt with risk assessments for IT risks. Afterwards she was a deputy professor at the Technical University of Braunschweig for three semesters and a visiting professor at the University of Applied Sciences Bingen for one semester . She is a private lecturer at the University of Heidelberg and regularly gives lectures there. She is also a lecturer at the University of Applied Sciences in Stuttgart and at several distance learning universities .

She regularly speaks at conferences, writes for several specialist journals and is the author of several books and more than 100 specialist publications on the subject of requirements engineering and software engineering .

As a supporter of the IREB board, she helps shape the CPRE standard (Certified Professional Requirements Engineer) and has all CPRE certificates. She is the spokesperson for the Stuttgart / Böblingen regional group of the Society for Computer Science and the ACM and heads several working groups in the Society for Computer Science.
