Andrea Maurer (sociologist)

Andrea Maurer (* 1962 ) is a German sociologist and university professor.

Live and act

Andrea Maurer completed a commercial apprenticeship and then studied social and economic sciences. From 1987, she worked at the University of Augsburg with a scholarship for the gifted in their dissertation and in 1991 a doctorate . From 1991 to 1998 she worked on research projects. 1999 habilitation they are. From 2002 she was professor for organizational sociology at the University of the Federal Armed Forces in Munich . Since 2013 she has been Professor of Work , Organizational and Business Sociology at the University of Trier . She has been a member of the board of directors of the Hans Albert Institute since 2020.

She also publishes in the field of economic sociology .
