Andreas Becker (born March 8, 1970 in Mülheim an der Ruhr ) is a German hockey player and Olympic champion .

Andreas Becker played for Uhlenhorst Mülheim and became German champions with this team in 1988, 1990, 1991, 1994 and 1995. From 1988 to 1996 the club won the European Champion Clubs' Cup nine times in a row .

After becoming Junior European Champion in 1988 and Junior World Champion in 1989, the left winger made his debut in the German national hockey team in 1989 . He won the title at the 1991 European Field Hockey Championship and was part of the winning team at the Champions Trophy in 1991 and 1992 . At the 1992 Olympic Games , Becker took part in all seven games and achieved the first Olympic victory with the German team in twenty years. After finishing fourth at the 1994 World Cup, Becker won the European Field Hockey Championship for the second time in 1995. Becker ended his career in the national team at the 1996 Olympic Games when the German team finished fourth. Becker played a total of 123 international matches, 5 of them indoors.
