Andreas Brandt (cartoonist)
Andreas Brandt , pseudonym Sebby (born November 12, 1963 ) is a German cartoonist.
Brandt already had his first cartoon publications during his school days in Jever . After graduating from high school, he worked for many years as a draftsman and copywriter in an Oldenburg advertising agency before setting up freelance as a cartoonist in 1997. Various licensed work followed (Pippi Longstocking, Sandman, etc.).
In 2000 he moved to Berlin. Since then, Brandt has concentrated almost exclusively on the production of its own press comics.
His comic strip 'Tierische Zeiten' won a vote by readers of the renowned St.Galler Tagblatt in Switzerland in 2011 and prevailed against some of the world's most famous comic strips.
His work is regularly published in newspapers, journals and magazines in 5 German-speaking countries. Including in many newspapers every day.
Brandt became known to a larger audience through short portraits of himself on television.
