Andreas Butzki (born January 2, 1960 in Neubrandenburg ) is a German headmaster and elected MP ( SPD ) in the state parliament of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania .

biography

After attending school and high school, Andreas Butzki completed a teaching degree in geography at the University of Greifswald, which he completed in 1982. He then worked in his profession, then from 1990 to 1991 as deputy headmaster, then as headmaster of the Integrated Comprehensive School Walter Karbe in Neustrelitz .

politics

Butzki was one of the founders of the SPD in Neustrelitz in 1990 and has had a seat in the local city council since that time, as parliamentary group chairman until 2009, and city president from 2009. In the state elections in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania in 2011, he received a direct mandate in the Mecklenburg-Strelitz I state constituency . Since January 2014 he has been deputy chairman of the SPD parliamentary group.
