Leo-Hat ( Leo Hat , Leohat ) is an East Timorese place, Aldeia and Suco in the administrative office of Soibada ( Manatuto municipality ).

The place

The place Leo-Hat is located in the southwest of the Sucos, at an altitude of 535  m . Like the neighboring Malushum, the place belongs to the Soibada settlement center , which extends over several sucos .

1113 inhabitants live in Leo-Hat (2015), of which 557 are men and 556 women. The population density is 29.0 inhabitants / km². There are 162 households in the Suco. Over 90% of the population name Tetum Terik as their mother tongue. 8.5% speak Idaté , minorities Tetum Prasa or Tokodede .

Before the 2015 territorial reform, Leo-Hat had an area of ​​32.22 km². Now there are 38.42 km². The Suco is located in the east of the Soibada administrative office. To the west are the sucos Manlala and Samoro . To the east of Leo-Hat is the Barique administrative office with its Sucos Barique and Manehat and to the north the Laclubar administrative office with its Suco Orlalan . The Sáhen River flows through the southwest of Leo-Hat and the Motana , a tributary of the Sáhen, along the eastern border . A tributary of the Dilor is the Nabaonada . It flows along the border between the Sucos Leo-Hat and Barique.

In addition to the Soibada settlement center, there is another settlement in the north. Malus Hun has its own primary school and medical station.

The two Aldeias Leo-Hat and Malus Hun are in the Suco .

politics

In the elections of 2004/2005 was Martinho de Lima Ximenes elected Chefe de Suco and in 2009 re-elected.
