Maun-Fahe ( Maunfahe , Maunfahi , Manufahi , Manufahe ) is an East Timorese place, Aldeia and Suco in the Soibada administrative office ( Manatuto municipality ).

The place

The place Maun-Fahe is located in the east of the Sucos, at an altitude of 706  m . The primary school des Sucos, the Escola Primaria Maun-Fahe and a medical station are located here.

Maun-Fahe has 537 inhabitants (2015), of which 271 are men and 266 women. The population density is 19.4 inhabitants / km². There are 83 households in the Suco. Almost 56% of the population name Tetum Terik as their mother tongue. 37% speak Idaté , almost 8% Tetum Prasa .

Before the 2015 regional reform, Maun-Fahe had an area of ​​27.12 km². Now it is 27.73 km². The Suco is located in the northwest of the Soibada administrative office. To the south is the Suco Fatumaquerec , to the east of the Suco Manlala . In the west and north, Maun-Fahe borders the Laclubar administrative office with its sucos Fatumaquerec and Manelima . The northern border to Manellima is the Buarahuin River , a tributary of the Sáhen .

The country road from Soibada to Laclubar runs through the eastern part of Maun-Fahe. The two villages of Sucos, Maun-Fane and Teras are also located on it .

The two Aldeias Maun-Fahe and Teras are located in the Suco .

history

At Maun-Fahe / Teras there was an Indonesian camp for East Timorese at the end of 1979 , who should be relocated by the occupiers for better control.

politics

In the elections of 2004/2005 was Domingos Cruz da Silva elected Chefe de Suco and in 2009 re-elected.
