Andreas Herrmann (economist)

Andreas Herrmann (born October 15, 1964 ) is a German business economist . He is the head of the research center for customer insight at the University of St. Gallen .

biography

Herrmann studied business administration at the Scientific University for Management in Koblenz (WHU) and received his doctorate in 1991; In 1996 he received the Venia for business administration at the University of Mannheim . From 1997 Herrmann held the chair for general business administration and marketing at the University of Mainz . In 2001 he moved to the University of St. Gallen.

He has published in well-known journals, including the Journal of Marketing and the Journal of Marketing Research .

In the Handelsblatt Betriebswirte Ranking 2009, which analyzes the research performance of 2,100 business economists in Germany, Austria and German-speaking Switzerland based on the quality of publications since 2005, it came in 8th.
