Andreas Knecht (born July 1, 1962 in Laufenburg ) is a Swiss non-fiction author and writer .

Life

As a teenager, Andreas Knecht worked as a freelance journalist for various press publications. After studying business informatics and post-graduate studies, he worked for several years as a project manager in the logistics sector and then in management functions - primarily in the area of quality management.

Today he runs his own consulting company together with a business partner. His experience as a management consultant prompted him to start the non-fiction series “Business Stories”, which deals with economic life and everyday business in a humorous way.

Together with other authors from the Versus publishing house in Zurich, he developed a series of non-fiction books which, under the label “VERSUS compact”, conveys specialist knowledge in a short form.

In 2011 he published the work "Cheese & Wine" in the field of gastronomy. This was awarded a gold medal by the Historia Gastronomica and a silver medal by the German Gastronomy Academy.

While working on the non-fiction books, Andreas Knecht began developing novels . A total of seven works have been published since autumn 2008.
