The Miltenberg deanery is one of 20 deaneries in the Roman Catholic diocese of Würzburg .

It includes the Altlandkreis Miltenberg . In the east it borders on the Lohr deanery in the south / southeast on the Archdiocese of Freiburg , in the west on the diocese of Mainz and in the north on the deanery Obernburg and Aschaffenburg-Ost .

Eighteen parishes and four curatia have merged into nine parish communities by 2010.

The dean is Michael Prokschi, the coordinating pastor of the Kirchzell parish community. His deputy Karl-Josef Kraus, coordinating pastor of the parish community Am Engelberg, Großheubach. The administrative seat is in Kirchzell .
