The Aschaffenburg-West deanery is one of 20 deaneries in the Roman Catholic diocese of Würzburg .

It covers the western part of the Aschaffenburg district . It borders in the northeast on the deanery Aschaffenburg-Ost , in the east on the deanery Aschaffenburg-Stadt , in the southeast on the deanery Obernburg , in the west on the neighboring diocese of Mainz and in the north on the deanery Alzenau .

By 2010, seven parishes had joined together to form three parish communities. St. Laurentius, Kleinostheim , St. Margaretha, Mainaschaff and Maria Rosenkranzkönigin, Stockstadt am Main remain individual parishes.

Dean is Uwe Nimbler, pastor of St. Peter and Paul and Assumption of Mary, Großostheim in the parish community of the same name. His deputy Georg Klar, pastor of St. Margareta, Mainaschaff. The current administrative headquarters are therefore located in Großostheim.
