The deanery Aschaffenburg-Ost is one of 20 deaneries in the Roman Catholic diocese of Würzburg .

It includes the eastern part of the Aschaffenburg district , the Spessart communities. It borders in the east on the dean's office Lohr , in the south / southeast on the dean's office Miltenberg, in the west on the dean's office Obernburg , the dean's office Aschaffenburg-Stadt and the dean's office Aschaffenburg-West and in the north on the dean's office Alzenau and the neighboring diocese of Fulda .

Seventeen parishes and four curatia merged in 2010 to form seven parish communities. Laufachtal, St. Thomas More Laufach with the branches Herz-Jesu Frohnhofen , St. John the Baptist Hain and St. Nikolaus von Flüe, Haibach with the branches St. Laurentius Dörrmorsbach , St. John the Baptist Grünmorsbach remain individual parishes.

The dean is Erich Sauer, pastor of Haibach. His deputy is Alfred Bauer, the coordinating pastor of the Goldbach parish community. The administrative seat is in Haibach .
