Dörrmorsbach is a district of the municipality Haibach in the district of Aschaffenburg in Lower Franconia in Bavaria . The district had around 570 inhabitants in 2010.

Dörrmorsbach is located in the Bavarian Spessart Nature Park . The village is arranged around the centrally located church of St. Laurentius. The federal highway 3 runs 5 km northeast. The topographically highest point of the village mark is on Meisberg, southeast of the village at 395 m above sea level. NN , the lowest is on Dörrmorsbach at 198 m above sea level. NN .
history
For the first time Dörrmorsbach was on December 21, 1184 in a document from Pope Lucius III. mentioned.
At the time of the Grand Duchy of Frankfurt , Dörrmorsbach (Dörrenmorsbach) was in the area of the Districtsmairie Schweinheim (the former Kurmainzische Amtsvogtei Schweinheim) in the department of Aschaffenburg and counted 88 inhabitants (souls) at 17 fireplaces. Maire was Joh. Roth; Adjunct Andreas Striker.
As a result of the Paris Treaty of June 3, 1814, Dörrmorsbach came to the Kingdom of Bavaria on June 26, 1814 with the Districtsmairie Schweinheim and was assigned to the administrative area of the resulting second-class district court of Aschaffenburg by order of October 1, 1814.
On July 1, 1862, the District Court of Aschaffenburg became the District Office of Aschaffenburg and in 1939, as everywhere in the German Empire, the designation district was introduced. Dörrmorsbach was now one of the 33 communities in the old district of Aschaffenburg . On July 1, 1972, this merged with the Alzenau district in Lower Franconia to form the new Aschaffenburg district.
On January 1, 1978, the previously independent municipality was incorporated into the municipality of Haibach.

Dörrmorsbach owns a town house built in 1999 with two halls for private celebrations and meetings; the rooms in the basement are used by the “Spessartecho” music association and the volunteer fire brigade. Other local clubs are the “Falke” hiking club and the “Olympic '72 Dörrmorsbach” leisure club, which provides opportunities for football and basketball and a mountain bike route on its premises.
The local history and local history association Haibach - Grünmorsbach - Dörrmorsbach e. V. deals with local history. The village also has a library.
Every year on the third full weekend in July, the regional “Dörrmorsbacher Wiesenfest” takes place below the Hohe-Wart-Weg in the Gailbach area.
