The Ochsenfurt deanery is one of 20 deaneries in the Roman Catholic diocese of Würzburg .

It includes the former district of Ochsenfurt which is now the southern part of the district of Würzburg . It borders in the northeast on the dean's office Kitzingen , in the southeast on the archbishopric Bamberg , in the south on the diocese Rottenburg-Stuttgart , in the west on the archbishopric Freiburg and in the north on the dean's office Würzburg left of the Main , the dean's office Würzburg-Stadt and the dean's office Würzburg right of the Main .

In 2010, thirty-eight parishes and six curatia merged to form seven parish communities.

Dean is Oswald Sternagel, coordinating pastor of the parish community Ochsenfurt - St. Andreas with St. Burkard, St. Thekla, Kleinochsenfurt - Maria Schnee. His deputy is Gregor Sauer, coordinating pastor of the parish community Aub-Gelchsheim. The administrative seat is in Ochsenfurt .
