The Kitzingen deanery is one of 20 deaneries in the Roman Catholic diocese of Würzburg .

It covers a large part of the Kitzingen district . It borders in the east and south on the Archdiocese of Bamberg , in the south-west on the deanery of Ochsenfurt , in the west on the deanery of Würzburg to the right of the Main and in the north on the deanery of Schweinfurt-Süd . In 2010 28 parishes joined together to form 8 parish communities. St. Ludwig Marktbreit with the branches Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ Marktsteft and Maria Queen Obernbreit remains a single parish.

Dean is Peter Göttke, coordinating pastor of the parish community Kirchschönbach-Stadelschwarzach-Wiesentheid. His deputy is Gerhard Spöckl, coordinating pastor of the parish community St. Hedwig in Kitzinger Land, Kitzingen.
