The dean's office in Bad Neustadt is one of 20 dean's offices in the Roman Catholic diocese of Würzburg .
It includes the district of Rhön-Grabfeld . It borders in the northeast on the diocese of Erfurt , in the south on the deanery Haßberge , the deanery Schweinfurt-Nord , the deanery Bad Kissingen and in the west / northwest on the deanery Hammelburg and the diocese Fulda . The dean's office in Bad Neustadt merged with the dean's office in Rhön-Grabfeld on July 1, 2011.
By 2010, 59 parishes and 16 curatia had come together to form 16 parish communities.
The dean is Andreas Krefft, the coordinating pastor of the Bad Neustadt parish community. His deputy is Thomas Menzel, coordinating pastor of the parish community Franziska Streitel, Mellrichstadt. The administrative seat is in Bad Neustadt an der Saale .
