It includes the district of Rhön-Grabfeld . It borders in the northeast on the diocese of Erfurt , in the south on the deanery Haßberge , the deanery Schweinfurt-Nord , the deanery Bad Kissingen and in the west / northwest on the deanery Hammelburg and the diocese Fulda . The dean's office in Bad Neustadt merged with the dean's office in Rhön-Grabfeld on July 1, 2011.
