Weisbach is a district of the Lower Franconian market Oberelsbach in the Rhön-Grabfeld district .
Geographical location
Weisbach is located southwest of Oberelsbach and is connected to the north via the district road NES 13 with Ginolfs , and westwards via the state road St 2289 with Sondernau .
history
The first written mention of the place comes from the year 1234. The name of the rural place comes from the Weisbach flowing around the old town.
On July 1, 1972 Weisbach became part of Oberelsbach as part of the municipal reform.
