Kirchlinde natural monument
⊙ The monumentalsummer lindentree stands as a single tree in an exposed position on the church hill in front of the upper church courtyard wall directly by the church, on the town's main street called "Lindenstrasse".
The tree veteran, designated as a natural monument , is estimated to be 250-300 years old. Its mighty but mostly hollow trunk soon branches out into a number of steeply towering strong branches that form an ostrich-shaped crown. According to measurements in 2016, the linden tree has a chest height of 7.14 m and a height of 26 m.
