Hammelburg deanery is one of 20 deaneries in the Roman Catholic diocese of Würzburg .

structure

It comprises the old districts of Hammelburg and Bad Brückenau , today the district of Bad Kissingen . It borders in the east on the dean's office Bad Kissingen , in the southeast on the dean's office Schweinfurt-Nord , in the south and west on the dean's office Karlstadt and in the north on the neighboring diocese of Fulda .

In 2010, twenty parishes and seven curatia merged to form nine parish communities.

The dean is Armin Haas, leader of the parish community Oberleichtersbach / Schondra, the deputy dean is Blaise Okapanachi, leader of the parish community St. Michael im Thulbatal. The administrative seat is in Schondra .
