Furnishing

The side altar of the church

The nave is clad inside with stucco. In the center there is a JHS monogram . The altars and the pulpit have been owned by the community since 1803. The dissolution of the Vogelsburg monastery brought the pieces into the little church. Only a late Gothic stone sacrament house has been preserved from the old furnishings .

The high altar has four columns and was probably built around 1730. The original altarpiece was removed. Now a figure of St. Andrew adorns the altar. That the Biedermeier period entstammende tabernacle is framed by two angels from the 18th century. The baroque antependium again shows St. Andrew, the church patron. A wooden triumphal cross delimits the space.

The side altar with the figures of Peter and Paul comes from the period from 1680 to 1700. The altarpiece shows the adoration of Maria Neapolitana . On the right wall of the nave there is a figure of the Madonna with a child. The pulpit is late baroque , only the risen Christ on the soundboard is younger. Special treasures of the church are the assistant figures of Mary and John. They come from the Riemenschneiderschule and are similar to those of the Münnerstadt church .

A memorial to the fallen is attached to the outside wall of the church.
