The Feldkahler Chapel is a chapel in the market town of Hösbach in the Lower Franconian district of Aschaffenburg ( Bavaria ).

Inside the chapel

The chapel stands in an open field in the middle Kahlgrund on the Erlenbacher Höhe in the district of Feldkahl , between Rottenberg and Erlenbach . It is located at about 300  m above sea level. NHN at the foot of the Klosterberg (382 m) directly on Degen-Weg .

The building was erected in 1991 by the chapel association. Inside there is a carved wooden Madonna and four memorial plaques for the fallen. A way of the cross was built in the area around the building . Short-term plans to develop a mining area for Zechstein dolomite in the immediate vicinity of the chapel were dropped in 2013.
