Andreas Knorr (economist)

Andreas Knorr (* 1964 in Regensburg ) is a German economist . He holds the chair for economics, in particular national and international economic policy, at the German University of Administrative Sciences Speyer .

Life

After graduating from the Erasmus grammar school in Amberg, Knorr studied business administration and economics at the University of Bayreuth . In 1989 he received his diploma, in 1993 he did his doctorate at the same university on the subject of "Monopoly or competition in postal services?" rer. pole. In 1996 he completed his habilitation on the subject of "Environmental Protection, Sustainable Development and Free Trade: WTO and NAFTA in Comparison". From 2000 to 2004 he was professor for foreign trade theory and policy at the University of Bremen , and since 2004 he has been professor at the University of Administrative Sciences in Speyer.
