Andreas Liebert
Andreas Liebert (* 1960 in Hamburg ) is a German author. He mainly writes historical novels and publishes a. a. under the pseudonyms Andrea Olsen, Kay Cordes, Andreas Trebal and Christian Turnau.
Life
Liebert grew up in Hamburg and Stuttgart . After his military service in Philippsburg and Ulm , he studied musicology at the University of Hamburg from 1982 to 1989 , where he graduated with a master's degree. In the period up to 1992 he wrote his dissertation .
In 1988 he made his first serious literary steps, but failed due to several publishing house rejections. In 1993 he managed to get his first novel Das Blutholz into a publishing house. From 1994 to 1995 he was a research assistant at the European University of Flensburg , but then turned back to writing. He currently also teaches secondary school leaving qualifications at the Lüneburg Adult Education Center .
Andreas Liebert has been married to Ina-Marie Cassens since 1988, has a son and now lives in a village near Lüneburg .
Trivia
Andreas Liebert has been a member of Quo Vadis , the historical novel authors' group , since 2004 . Since 2010 he has been supervising prospective novelists as a study director in the novel workshop of the School of Writing (Hamburg).
