Andreas Ottenschläger

Andreas Ottenschläger (born May 7, 1975 in Vienna ) is an Austrian politician ( ÖVP ). Ottenschläger has been a member of the National Council since October 2013 .

Life

After elementary school, Andreas Ottenschläger attended the Federal High School Vienna 8 , where he graduated from high school in 1993 . After one year of military service , he began studying business administration in 1994 , which he finished in 2001 without a final exam.

During his studies, Ottenschläger found work at DEBA Bauträger Gesellschaft mbH . In 1998, at the age of 23, he became an authorized officer . In the years to come, he acquired numerous qualifications in the real estate industry through further training . In 2008 Ottenschläger finally became managing director of DEBA .

His career in politics began in 1995 as a member of the Young People's Party . In 1996, at the age of only 21, Ottenschläger moved into the district council of Vienna's 8th district of Josefstadt as a member of parliament . In 2001 he became deputy district chairman under the ÖVP politician Margit Kostal . He was there until 2005. In 2012, he was elected to the regional executive committee of the ÖVP Vienna.

Andreas Ottenschläger is married and has two children.
